Cancellation policy

This policy forms an integral part of our terms and conditions and must be accepted before completing payment for a ready-mix concrete order.
1. Order confirmation
An order is confirmed when payment in full is credited. At that point COTRICSA reserves production and the truck for the agreed date and time, and that capacity is no longer available to other customers.
2. Requested volume
Volume is determined by the buyer based on their own measurements. The site calculator is a guidance tool and does not replace an engineer's calculation.
Unused concrete is not refunded. It is produced specifically for your order, at the strength and slump you specified, and cannot be returned to inventory or sold to another customer.
3. Cancellation by the buyer

The tiered structure exists because as the date approaches, production is already scheduled, materials are allocated and the truck is committed, and that capacity can no longer be sold to another customer.

4. Rescheduling
You may reschedule the delivery date free of charge, once, by requesting it more than 24 hours in advance and subject to availability on the new date. Additional rescheduling is treated as a cancellation followed by a new order.
5. Site not ready at delivery
It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that on arrival there is adequate access, firm maneuvering ground and crew ready to receive and place the material.
If the truck arrives on the agreed date and time and cannot discharge for reasons attributable to the buyer, the order is considered delivered and no refund applies.
6. Weather conditions
Rain or other conditions preventing the pour are a risk assumed by the buyer when choosing the date.
- If the truck has not left the plant, the order is rescheduled at no cost.
- If the truck has already left, the concrete is setting and no refund applies.
7. Cancellation by COTRICSA
If due to plant failure, equipment failure or any cause attributable to COTRICSA delivery is not possible on the committed date, the buyer chooses between:
- A 100% refund of the amount paid, or
- Free rescheduling to the nearest available date.
8. Refund timing and method
Applicable refunds are issued through the same payment method used for the purchase, within 10 business days of authorization. How long it takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank or the payment platform.
9. Invoicing
The invoice is issued using the tax details provided at the time of purchase. Ensuring they are correct is the buyer's responsibility.
